![]() ![]() Maybe they do, but they clearly don't have a way of prioritizing them. The few Corel people who speak will say that they have a huge pile of feature requests. I've had the experience of a product manager telling me that an improvement I've brought up repeatedly on the newsgroups for _years_ was news to him, but what a good idea. ![]() The C_Tech's will pass along feature requests, but that seems to have little impact. One thing I know is the newsgroups are ineffective in communicating to Corel about WordPerfect. Why are such improvements with which no user would argue overlooked version after version while we get "improvements" that no one seems to want? What is going on here? I'm not talking about big things necesarily, but things like being able to find and replace paired codes or making the merge select records box larger so it might be actually useful. Given that there are not many new features, that's not really saying much, but still I wonder who these users are and how it is that through several versions WPO still doesn't have many of the improvements that users request again and again. There's also 2 completely different versions of Skyland contained among the various releases ( Grumptronix - Level 5 (Arcon 2 remix)) ( J-Majik - Silicon Valley (Arcon 2 remix)) ( Neotropic - 15 Levels of Magnification (Arcon 2 Remix)) 2, Xenophobia, Warp 7/9, Zorak, Re-Entry, Contact, Unorthodox Activity) Two tracks from the Japanese CD releases in CD quality! :warning: Maximum Style - The Teacher (Arcon 2 remix) YouSendIt link I imagine this being played by an orchestra, live and direct at some space station. I believe these tracks must have taken atleast 6 months to produce. ![]() These 2 particular tracks above aren't something an ordinary person can understand or follow with only one listen it will take several listenings over a period of time to really appreciate them, providing you like this style of music. Can anyone describe the picture in their mind when listening to this Message remix? I envisage a spaceship arriving at a space station or a flying saucer visiting earth during the night, but my friend imagines a samurai battle taking place in the future! ![]() Had this conversation with my friend recently. Maximum Style - The Message (Arcon 2 remix) I recommend the following 2 all-powerful tracks for those who've never heard Arcon 2 before (or these particular tracks), which happen to be my 2 personal favourite DnB productions of all-time! This is the original vinyl version of The Beckoning, and includes an extra couple of minutes over it's CD counterpart: Each track also has a complex structure, with a beginning, a middle and an end, which tells a story and takes you on a dark progressive journey through futuristic soundscapes, often accompanied by Jazzy samples. I feel that Arcon 2 AKA Leon Mar AKA Torus AKA Oil AKA Noel Ram puts his heart and soul into each and every production-atleast under the Arcon 2 alias-which usually includes extremely complicated edits/programming of different electronic instruments, without speeding up the beats (Venetian Snares style) or sounding too subtle (Squarepusher) or random. I find Sunchase, Cytech, Antibreak, Fanu and Paradox pretty consistent also, but I don't like all their music. Arcon 2 is the only artist I can honestly say I like 100% of his tracks. ![]()
